That's father's guilt coming from Aria's dad. However, I'm glad to see the success the cast is having this episode on this day for Comiket. They needed that confidence boost.

I love how this episode connected with the recent events together and did so with a lot of emotions. Very well done imo. Aria is living out her dreams now.

To think the same dude who's been doing some of the most cringeworthy omegaweeb things imaginable from Episode 1 would somehow have me in tears simply by channeling that same energy just a bit harder than he usually does. The raw passion from Okumura's outburst is something that's gonna stick with me, man.

Couldn't be happier with the conclusion Aria and her dad reached, and that flashback of mini Aria having her parents make up was adorable lmao

The series really wasn't popular. With Okumura and Kisaki-sensei shouting their love and grievances, about the series, and no one cared.

All ends well.

Damn, that was such a great episode! They've been teasing this up for quite a bit and I'm glad it delivered here in grand fashion. Okumura making Sensei admit it's his work and declaring that he'll continue the series against the odds was too beautiful. From what could've been a mere coincidence to a genuine redemption, Okumura is going to get more famous from here on, one might imagine xD.

Significance behind the hairpin was lovely too. Here's to hoping they'll be able to see each in good light again. Didn't expect Ariel's mother to be a full blown gal back in the day, that was a sweet little backstory.

We knew this moment was going to happen, and waited for it since we heard about Aria's past.

Peak of the show, it will be hard for the last episodes of the season keep up after this, but let's hope for the best!

Cinema absolute cinema 😭😭♥️

Okamura was amazing on how well he expressed his love for the manga. This was true otaku energy, bro pulled it off brilliantly. It made Aria's father remember why and how much he loved his work. Without him this wouldn't have gone this smoothly.
Aria and Melia did the rest of the job.

"For 10 years, no I have good day today"
So happy to see both of them having such a happy reunion and finally a father showing how much he loved his daughter. Na I kept crying..

Ririsa hijacking the reunion was hilarious. But she also made an additional costume just for this too..Unreal🫡.
Thanks to so much support Aria's father won't abandon his manga, that's extremely admirable as he learned from past.

The last scene with hairpin and Aria's parents memories was so touching, emotional and heartfelt😭😭.
Their love is still their as ever. I hope they get back together again.

Masterpiece episode. I loved this anime throughout but this was so fullfilling way to finish up this arc. JC Staff cooked when mattered. I have fun crying..♥️

Wow, just wow!
It was such a fantastic episode from start to finish, by far (and I mean by far) the best episode in the series :)

Between Okumura's speech to the dad, Aria incredibly beautiful and emotional reunion with her dad, the mom remembering her past and her message to her former love...
I will admit, I cried almost as much as the dad did in this episode haha!

If I rated the series based on this episode alone, it would be an 11 out of 10 to be honest :)
Hope next arcs are as good (if we ever get a sequel).

What a fantastic episode, who said the words "Otaku" and "CHAD" can't go together?

The reunion between Aria and her father was really touching with the words and flashbacks. But it was Okumura's speech to Aria's father that really solved everything, helping her understand the true value of her work. It's amazing to see Okumura, who used to sometimes give me cringe, bring me to tears in this episode.

We also got to see Aria's parents' past, and judging by the mother's words and lingering feelings, it wouldn't be too far-fetched for them to get back together.

The long awaited reunion between Aria and her dad is here, it was kinda cheesy but the very good kind of cheese lol. Okumura really came through in this one too, I thought everything would be between Aria and her dad, but it makes sense for Okumura to be a big part of this as well due to how much impact Higarashi Sensei’s manga has had on his life, and he absolutely let him know too, I’m not sure if I could ever yell at someone I consider my hero like that but it was what needed to be said, and it complimented the reunion itself, definitely one of our boy Okumura’s best moments in the show.

And when it came to Aria’s time with her dad, very touching stuff, the Melia cosplay looked awesome and made that moment pretty much perfect when you consider that both Aria and Melia are like Higarashi’s daughters, 10 years is a long time but I’m glad the man has finally come to terms with his original work and his real daughter. I’m also really happy for Aria, all that hard work paid off and she got to see her dad, after all those flashbacks it hits extra hard too, I’m not sure if her mom and dad would ever get back together but they really had something amazing, and still do with Aria, I can see it happening. Also wow Higarashi has really lived Nagatoro but without the bullying huh, bro had it made lol, so sad what happened to the relationship but this closure is really nice at least. I also liked Ririsa’s moment with Higarashi, it was a short bit but I’m sure she was on cloud 9 lol. And that’s Aira’s arc finally done, but I’m not sure if this is the end of Summer Comiket yet, guess we’ll find out next time.

Wow Im so happy with today's episode, was basically everything I had hoped with the voice acting and music

Bit sad the part with Higarashi being worried how ecchi the outfit was removed

I liked it as a typical dad joke but guess that along with him using them as reference material for different angles for character design was removed for worry of it ruining the emotional beats maybe

This was one of the better episodes although I think some of the emotional scenes were a bit over the top but they were still good overall. On that note it was nice to see Aria and her father meet and make up and this has also resulted in him deciding to continue with the Liliel side story. While this may not be that relevant to this series, I would also like to see Aria's parents reconcile.

For someone who has had such difficulty connecting with actual persons, Okamura is a G O A T for expressing the emotions he feels, and being empathetic with others. Even veering into grand melodrama, this was a top episode. We do not not have much of a baseline on Okamura's character before the events of the series, but I would like to think that the incremental connections he has made during it were instrumental in becoming the person he is now.

BEST EPISODE SO FAR. This is now the 4th time I’ve cried watching a Nigoriri episode. Aria and her father’s reunion was everything I could’ve asked for and more. Such a beautiful moment and I’m beyond happy they can finally start a new chapter in their relationship ❤️

All of course thanks to Okumura who spilled his freaking guts to convince her father of the value of the Lilliel side story. As a content creator myself, I know all too well how obsessed you can get with numbers and sales and all that, but ultimately, as long as you have a few people like Ririsa and Okumura out there that love and appreciate your work with all their heart, that’s all you need. Instead of worrying about all the sales, just worry about continuing to write things that you enjoy and that inspire others!

I got so emotional seeing the flashback to Aria’s mom and dad meeting and how they got closer thanks to his manga. Manga isn’t what brought him pain. In fact, manga directly brought him the greatest joys in his life. It’s just that sometimes shit doesn’t work out in life and that’s how it went with his ex wife. I feel like she still kinda loves him tho so who knows maybe one day they’ll even get back together(copium)

Still just have chills thinking of how Okumura straight up told the author of his fave work he don’t care about what he thinks, his series is awesome lmao. So real.

So this episode covers the other half of chapter 56 and went all the way to chapter 60 of Volume 8. I'm surprised that they were able to cram so much material into one episode and I can understand why they cut out the Dad jokes in the manga because they want to make this special episode very emotional which was a huge success. This concludes Aria's story arc, but there is one day of Comiket left which I think will cover the last four chapters of Volume 8 making it a good stopping point for the series.

This got to be the most emotional episode yet. Aria and her had reconciled, and it looks like there will be reconciliation between her had and mom.

I also like how Okumura expressed his passion to sensei, and moved him and me.

The end result? He has decided to continue working on the manga.

If this is not the best episode so far, I don't know what is.

Hit me in my kokoro 🥲 it's good to see her and her dad meet again and make up with each other. Also, okumura was goated this episode too, his development from episode 1 has really gotten better. Doesn't matter if you can't make a million people like your stuff, as long as there's just one that enjoys it, that is enough. That's damn right!

Amazing fucking episode. People weren't kidding when they said this show was made 2 cours just for this episode and I can see why. This was the absolute peak of the show so far, it was so good and you can clearly see it as well from the production quality of this episode, they really put a lot of effort and love into it.

I've been waiting for a long time for Okumura to show us again why he is the protagonist, we love Okumura in this household. Who would've thought we'd get such a wonderfully written character driven show from what was initially a very ecchi show. Though we already saw signs of it early on.

Once this season is over, I am definitely jumping on the manga, though I hope they make more seasons.

Sidenote, I hope Aria's parents reconcile, they still clearly love each other, though I know that even if they still love each other, it's not that simple or easy for them to get back together, at the very least, they become friends again.
